What a wonderful Christmas season this has been here at Serenity Cottage! Having that someone special by my side has just made life so much sweeter. Jimmy and I have settled into such a cosy life that suits us both to a T. Gotta just love that!
The Christmas season found us busy with lots of shopping for special little ones. Between us we have 14 precious grandchildren!!
A week before Christmas we made a trip to deliver packages to Erica and grands. When we arrived there was no tree! We knew we must immediately take care of that and went out and got a tree and helped to decorate it. How beautiful it turned out to be!
Next it was off to Chrissy's for a few nights to see more sweet peas and my mom and sibs. It was a whirlwind three days but we got a lot of fun times in!
The girls had a new puppy from Aunt Erica. Toby is just the sweetest boy ever and very much loved by all!!
Small town shopping…
While there my city guy, Jimmy, got the opportunity to help with the chores. Here are the guys all decked out to got down the canyon to check on the cows late at night. I think they look like terrorist…
On the last day we had some snow and it made for a very beautiful trip back home!
Darn rural isn't it? Wide open spaces for miles and miles! What a wonderful place to grow up!
Sadly we had to leave on Christmas Eve as Jimmy had to work the following day. But we packed in a lot of memories and got lots of lovin!!
I feel so fortunate to spend time with those I love. But we all missed Becca and family very much. They were busy celebrating way down in Nevada. It is indeed a very special Christmas when all the family is together and while we had that last year, perhaps next year we can once again!!
Back home the gurlz were so happy to see us! And we were ready to open up those packages under the tree and see what treasures were within! I am so blessed to have amazingly talented girls and this year Chrissy gave me the most beautiful cross stitch!!
Becca made us laugh with her choice of gifts! My Jimmy is definitely a Harley Biker guy and so has a great deal of items of clothing and such with skulls. Becca thought this was just the perfect thing for us.
She threatens to start a skull collection for us……no I don't think so. I much prefer this gift from her..
Yes a boxer collection would be more to my liking…
I decked my guy out with Harley wear and accessories and he gave me diamonds..
Can't beat that!! Love that guy so very much!!
What a wonderful Christmas season it has been. How blessed I truly am!!
Wishing you Christmas Blessings!
